Curriculum Approach
We realise that everything that the child encounters and experiences has something to learn about and learn from. This means only a holistic and integratedcurriculum can equip the child for life. Hence we have based our curriculum on Multiple Intelligence (MI)
Our Programs are designed based on the following pillars
MultipleIntelligence Framework
Intrapersonal
Logical-mathematical
Linguistic
Naturalistic
Interpersonal
Musical
Bodily-kinesthetic
Spatial
MI ensures that every intelligences are given equal importance to deliver comprehensive learning experience to the child.
"Education which teaches everybody the same is the most unfair education"
- Howard Gardner
International Experiential Curriculum
Experiential education is rooted in Self-awareness. According to Neuroscience, the most rapid development of the human brain occurs in the first 1000 days of life. By the 1001st day, the brain would reach 80% of adult size. For the human brain to get to what it would look like when it becomes an adult-or to fully develop connections, it needs to go through certain experiences. In the absence of experience, all these synaptic connections are pulled back and the brain stays small. Unless these experiences are continued in a loving, consistent, predictable manner, these connections die!
“Children must be taught how to think, not what to think.”
— Margaret Mead, cultural anthropologist
Safe Learning Spaces
Ability to learn is all about identifying the child’s own interest in an environment where a child can thrive- A child functions well in a safe and happy environment
Think about your fondest memory. They are often with people and things you love the most.
Learning is the same- best fostered where they can learn from and with others in an environment that evokes happiness.
“The greatest gifts you can give your children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence.”
— Denis Waitley, motivational speaker
Social and Emotional well being
Social and emotional learning is about learning how to manage feelings, relationships and solve problems.
These are essential life skills that support wellbeing and positive mental health. Social and emotional skills promote children's ability to cope with difficulties and help to prevent mental health problems.
Through the Child-Family-School interface, we support a smooth transition of the learner from the early years to a confident, self-aware individual with self-esteem.
“As a beacon of light guides a lost ship, emotions guide our behaviours.”
In-order to support our children to achieve the best learning outcomes with respect to the above, we have following international associations:
